Humes concrete pipe business was the first asset inherited through Cemex's A17bn takeover of Rinker.

Allens Arthur Robinson, which worked on the Rinker purchase, is advising Cemex.



The joint lead financial advisors for that deal were Citi and JPMorgan.



Andrew Cox, a key member of the Citi team on that transaction, has moved to Merrills. He is currently working on this transaction, as part of a team led by Gautam Chari.
