DEAL SUMMARY

Raising involves one-for-one pro-rata renounceable entitlement offer for institutional and retail investors, and “cornerstone” A$36.6m placement to China-based Haier Group that will sub-underwrite the offer

Haier will take 20% stake in Fisher & Paykel with the companies entering into a cooperation agreement

Freehills previosly advised on GIC Real Estate’s investment in GPT Group, and GSJBW Private Equity’s investment in AJ Lucas. Firm advised on 47% of major equity capital raisings since October 2008
