Moray & Agnew has been named a law firm of the year finalist in the Australia and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.
This is the first nomination for the firm, which calls it a “testament” to its role as a specialist provider of insurance legal services.
Michael Pitt, national managing partner of Moray & Agnew, says he is overjoyed about the nomination: “[The award] is based on innovation, client service and excellence [in] the insurance sector. We will continue to improve on the standards, which are recognised by these awards.”
The awards recognise excellence and achievement in the insurance industry. The event is jointly organised by the Asia Insurance Review and Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
Moray & Agnew’s insurance services have also been recognised by Asia Pacific Legal 500, which rated the firm’s insurance lawyers as “impressive” and “outstanding”.
In the ALB Australasian Law Awards 2008, Moray & Agnew was nominated as a finalist in the ‘Insurance Specialist Firm of the Year’ category. Other finalists were DLA Phillips Fox, Monahan + Rowell, Piper Alderman and Wootton & Kearney. The award was won by Colin Biggers & Paisley.
