Allens Arthur Robinson has advised Cargill on its acquisition of grain trading assets
and infrastructure from Canadian fertiliser and rural services provider Agrium Inc. Allens partners Carolyn Oddie and Marcus Clark led the matter. Blake Dawson advised AWB/ Agrium.
Freehills is acting for Royal Wolf Holdings on its IPO. Philippa Stone is the lead partner. Gilbert + Tobin advised Credit Suisse on this matter. Peter Cook, Rachael Bassil and Rosmond Sayer were the advising partners.
Freehills is advising Citi and UBS on Gloucester Coal Limited's A$230 million capital raising. Tony Sparks is the lead partner.
Gilbert + Tobin has advised Kulczyk Oil Ventures on the proposed acquisition by Neconde Limited of an oil and gas field in Nigeria, from Shell Petroleum, Total and Agip. Andrew Bullock and Nick Grambas led this deal.
Piper Alderman has advised Gilat on an NBN-related major supply contract with Optus, valued at up to $120m over the next five years. Partner Tim Coleman led this deal.
