dispute resolution partner Ashley Black is set to become a judge of the Supreme Court of NSW. Black will be sworn in as a member of the judiciary on July 4, 2011. He has been a partner with Mallesons
for 16 years, a career which has afforded him considerable experience in complex corporate and commercial litigation and he has also acted on numerous regulatory inquiries.
In addition to his position at Mallesons
, Black is an adjunct professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Sydney and a Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales. Managing partner Robert Milliner wished Black every success at the bench.
