Singapore firms to compete for top awards

Allen & Gledhill, Drew & Napier, Rajah & Tann, and WongPartnership have scooped the most nominations as finalists in the ten Firms of the Year categories in this year’s ALB SE Asia Law Awards.
Allen & Gledhill is leading the pack with eight nominations out of the ten categories, including commercial litigation, tax and real estate. Following closely is Drew & Napier (seven), Rajah & Tann (six) and WongPartnership (five). The top domestic firms will also fight it out for the coveted Singapore Deal Firm of the Year.
International firms Norton Rose, Herbert Smith and Shearman & Sterling have also received recognition for their international arbitration work in the region.
Meanwhile the leaders of Southeast Asia’s top domestic and international firms will vie for the coveted Managing Partner of the Year award – with Kenneth Aboud from Allen & Overy, Kevin Wong of Linklaters Allen & Gledhill, Helen Yeo of Rodyk & Davidson, James Harris of Lovells Lee & Lee, Martin Green of Stephenson Harwood Chris Lowe of Watson Farley Williams and Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara of WongPartnership all in contention for the award.
