    ASX-listed law firm Slater & Gordon (S&G) has reported a net profit after tax of A$6.9m for the first half year of 2008, an increase of 56% compared to the A$4.4m of last year when the firm was still run as a private partnership. Revenues came in at A$37.4m, compared to A$29.9m a year earlier.
