DibbsBarker has appointed Veno Panicker to the role of Special Counsel. Panicker joins the firm from Maddocks where he was a senior associate.
He has more than a decade of experience providing specialist construction dispute resolution services to large and mid-tier contractors, developers, financiers and government bodies and is an expert in arbitration and mediation procedures.
Panicker’s clients include Baulderstone, on whose behalf he currently acts on a number of contentious matters in New South Wales. A renowned presenter and widely published author on construction dispute resolution, he recently submitted a paper on reforming the security of payment legislation to the New South Wales Department of Finance & Services.
“Veno is a strategic acquisition to the construction and major projects team,” said partner and practice leader Ian Taylor. “He will add value to our clients as well as depth to our practice through his specialisation in construction dispute resolution”.
