Laura H. Luo is an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati practicing corporate and securities law in the firm’s Shanghai office.

Laura has extensive experience representing public and private companies, private equity funds and venture capital funds in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, securities exchange transactions, corporate restructurings, asset sales and general corporate matters.  In recent years, Laura has represented Chinese enterprises and U.S. investors in capital-raising transactions in the United States and mergers and acquisitions transactions in China.  Select clients have included RINO International Corporation, Skypeople Fruit Juice Company and Sunway Global Corporation, Sino Gas International Holdings, Inc., China Hand Fund, Comanche Clean Energy Corporation, Flag Telecom Group Limited, Fushi Copperweld Corporation, Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, New York Life Investment Management Mezzanine Partners, LP, and Pegasus Communications Corporation.

Previously, Laura was a corporate attorney at law firms in New York and, earlier in her career, Laura served as general counsel at NaviPal.  Before attending law school, Laura worked as both a marketing analyst and a financial analyst at Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation.  Laura is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Laura is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
