New Zealand firm Anthony Harper has been admitted as a member of the American Law Firm Association (ALFA).
The move came after ALFA International's board of directors voted in favour of the firm's membership. Chief executive officer Richard Hetke said the Kiwi firm is a strong addition. "Anthony Harper brings the depth, expertise and focus our members' global clients seek. With this addition to the ALFA portfolio, we have a well-rounded and complete 'Down Under' team," he said.
Anthony Harper managing partner David Gould is excited about having access to resources from other firms. "Our membership enables clients requiring overseas legal services to have ready access to highly competent and similarly focused specialist lawyers around the world. It also facilitates sharing and pooling of expertise and resources to benefit our clients," he said.
Founded in 1980, ALFA International is a global legal network of 133 independent law firms covering 8,500 lawyers in 49 countries. Its mission is to improve the quality, efficiency and value of legal services around the world.
