Clayton Utz has recruited Andrew Jinks from Allens Arthur Robinson in a bid to shore up the banking & finance team which was famously raided by Allen & Overy in February. Jinks, a prominent name in the securitisation space, had previously been a partner at AAR for 13 years and has advised Westpac and St George on securitisation matters. Clayton Utz commented in a press release that the recruitment of Jinks comes at a time when Australia's securitisation market was showing signs of resurgence, with credit makets stabilising and economic confidence returning to pre-GFC levels.
