The Law Council of Australia, with the support of the LAW ASIA Law Management Section, is hosting a World Masters of Law Firm Management seminar focused on Legal Process Outsourcing.

Law Council of Australia president Catherine Gale said the event will bring together members of the Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) industry in a one day seminar to discuss the different perspectives of implementing legal process outsourcing within law firms.

The program features a session on the realities of legal process outsourcing, to be presented by Liam Brown, former CEO and founder of Integreon. Brown’s session will be followed by a presentation by Trish Hyde, chief executive officer of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (ACLA), who will present research findings on in-house trends and insights into in-sourcing and outsourcing. “Through the first of its kind research, ACLA has captured the current trends and views of the in-house profession and where they see the relationship with law firms going in the future,” she said. “I am excited to be able to share some of these insights at this conference.”

Other presenters at the conference include former Baker & McKenzie national managing partner, Paul Malliate; senior technology lawyer at AdventBalance, Graham Jefferson; director of applied legal technology at Allens, Beth Patterson and more.
