Deacons chairman Nick Abrahams recently braved a night outside with the homeless.
Abrahams was joined by about 200 other business leaders, including Allens Arthur Robinson boss Michael Rose, Maddocks CEO David Rennick, some Clayton Utz partners and Deacons clients, on the ground at Luna Park - armed with only a sheet of cardboard and soup - to raise A$500,000 for St Vincent De Paul's sleep-out campaign.
Deacons lawyers were stirred by Abraham's participation, mainly due to an internally circulated email suggesting the global financial crisis had made their chairman homeless, and that staff should "chip in".
