Advising on liquor licensing, gaming and hospitality is a passion that Jarrod Ryan will continue to pursue as Donaldson Walsh's (DW) new special counsel.
Formerly a senior associate at Kelly & Co's Adelaide office, he chose DW because it was a growing firm with opportunity to progress to partnership. "I liked the people who run the firm and their aim to develop the property and commercial section, and bring in a new liquor licensing practice. They also have coaching to develop my skills in practice development, and I just saw it as a good base for my clients," he said.
The firm has been supportive of Ryan's practice, which complements its existing advisory work for the wine industry and business sector.
