Private equity funds and M&A specialist Sayak Maity has joined U.S. law firm White & Case as a partner in Singapore from India’s AZB & Partners.
Baker McKenzie has represented Portugal’s EDP Renewables (EDPR) on its S$937 million ($695 million) acquisition of a stake in Southeast Asian green energy firm Sunseap, which was advised by Rajah & Tann.

Allen & Overy has advised Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) on the A$1.9 billion ($1.4 billion) sale of stake in its Australian Tower Network (ATN) to Australia’s superannuation fund AustralianSuper, which was represented by Allens.
